The Protection Of Women From Domestic Violence Act, 2005 has decreed thus:

Definitions.- In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,-

(a) ” aggrieved person” means any woman who is, or has been, in a domestic relationship with the respondent and who alleges to have been subjected to any act of domestic violence by the respondent;

” respondent” means any adult male person who is, or has been, in a domestic relationship with the aggrieved person and against whom the aggrieved person has sought any relief under this Act: Provided that an aggrieved wife or female living in a relationship in the nature of a marriage may also file a complaint against a relative of the husband or the male partner;

How blatantly biased, one-sided and preposterous and cruel towards males in India!

It negates the very essence of domestic relationship! This law seems to have been ushered in for the express purpose of exterminating the very institution of matrimony and family on Bharat, that is India!

Now read about a weak, tender and nubile wife who just killed her husband; poor girl!

PUNE: The Mundhwa police on Sunday arrested a 32-year-old call centre employee for allegedly assaulting her husband with a knife following a domestic quarrel. The incident took place on March 13 at their residence on B T Kavde Road.

The police have identified the woman as Dorothy Powell. Her husband, Uday Powell (34), lodged a complaint with the police on Saturday, after he was discharged from the hospital. Dorothy was arrested under section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons) of the Indian Penal Code. She was produced before the court on Sunday and released on bail.

According to sub-inspector Durgesh Sable of the Mundhwa police station, Uday and Dorothy got married around two years ago. They have a one-and-a-half-year-old son. Uday works with a construction company and Dorothy works with a call centre. “The couple was staying in a rented house for two to three months,” Sable said.

He said that following some domestic dispute, the couple entered into a brawl. “Uday has claimed in his complaint that Dorothy assaulted him with a knife. He then locked her in the house and rushed to a doctor. After getting preliminary treatment, Uday was shifted to a private hospital in Hadapsar. “On Saturday, Uday lodged a complaint with the police,” Sable said.

Speaking to TOI, Dorothy’s uncle Ruben Jadhav said that the allegations Uday had made against Dorothy were false. “The couple was staying in Dnyaneshwar building for two to three months. Dorothy had asked Uday to give her money to pay the house rent. However, Uday refused to give her money, saying that he wanted to buy a motorcycle,”
Jadhav said.

Jadhav added that on March 13, the couple started quarreling over the same issue. Uday then went into the bathroom and when he came out he had injuries in the stomach. He locked the house from outside and ran out. He went to the doctor, who suggested that Uday should be shifted to a hospital. “Dorothy paid the doctor’s bill and also deposited cash in the hospital for Uday’s treatment,” Jadhav said.

Jadhav said, “Dorothy is innocent. We do not know why Uday has implicated her in a false case.”

Uday has claimed in his complaint that Dorothy assaulted him with a knife. He then locked her in the house and rushed to a doctor. After getting preliminary treatment, Uday was shifted to a private hospital in Hadapsar. On Saturday, Uday registered a police complaint.

PRESS RELEASE

Sub: AIMWA files complaint with ASCI against Gillette’s W.A.L.S. campaign

All India Men’s Welfare Association (AIMWA) is the first ever organization formed to protect the rights and interests of men and to fight against all kinds of discrimination against men and boys in all arenas – social, legal, economic, etc.

AIMWA has launched a massive online protest against the “Women against Lazy Stubble (W.A.L.S.)” campaign started by the Gillette brand of Procter and Gamble India Ltd. (P&G) wherein P&G openly declared the campaign as “Women on the warpath” and has called men, who sport stubble or prefer to remain unshaven, as lazy in order to boost their sales of products of the shaving range.

The demands made by AIMWA are as follows

Procter and Gamble should stop the “Women against Lazy Stubble” campaign immediately.

They should publish a 10 cm. X 12 cm. apology for insulting men, in all leading national dailies, on either the front page or back page.

Actresses Minisha Lamba, Neha Dhupia and Mugdha Godse should tender apologies to all men for calling them lazy and urging women to detest unshaven men.

Procter and Gamble should also tender an apology for making a Gender Hate Speech, and

They should give an undertaking that they will never design sexist anti-male ad campaigns in future under any circumstances.

However, as there has been no official response from P&G on this issue of withdrawing the ad campaign or complying with the above demands, AIMWA is constrained to make an official complaint in this matter with the Advertizing Standards Council of India (ASCI) for designing a sexist anti-male ad-campaign offending the sentiments of men’s rights organization by calling all men lazy just to boost their sales and in turn also creating an environment that promotes Domestic Violence against Men.

As such AIMWA has launched an official complaint with the Council so that it can take necessary action against Gillette and P&G as per its policies.

Additionally, Katherine Albrecht’s “Talk Radio with Freedom” from the United States interviewed Mr. Parthasarthy, member of All India Men’s Welfare Association on AIMWA’s protest against the W.A.L.S. campaign of Gillette.

Details about “Talk Radio with Freedom” can be found at,

Details about the radio program can be found at,

http://aimwa.in/gillettes-mischievous-lazy-stub-ad-falls-flat

AIMWA will continue the protest against P&G and Gillette till all the demands are met. AIMWA further urges the people to boycott all brands under the Procter and Gamble India Ltd. Company like, Braun coffeemaker, Duracell, Old Spice, Pantene, Vicks, Oral-B, Head and Shoulders, Gillette, Tide, Pampers, Pringle potato chips, Ariel detergent, etc. and use alternate brands for the same products.

The problem of domestic violence has, for decades, been misrepresented by radical feminists as an exclusive problem faced by women.

The problem of domestic violence has, for decades, been misrepresented by radical feminists as an exclusive problem faced by women. Using horrific images of battered women as a marketing tool, feminists have successfully commercialized domestic violence and converted it into an evergreen industry.

Feminists have even arm-twisted and bullied many countries into enacting laws which actually promote domestic violence and human rights abuses against men, women and children in the name of women’s empowerment and protection.

Unbiased research on domestic violence the world over shows that:

Domestic Violence is not a gender issue.

Men and children are victims too.

Women are just as likely as men to commit domestic violence.

Women initiate domestic violence just as frequently as men do.

Men and children are less likely to report the incident when they are abused by their wives/girlfriends or mothers.

Domestic violence against wives or girlfriends is addressed by several laws (civil and criminal) in most countries. However, there are no laws to protect husbands, children and other family members of the husband from domestic violence by wives or girlfriends.

The credit goes to the Domestic Violence Industry run by the feminists and other stakeholders -law enforcement machinery, legal fraternity, politicians and bureaucrats – whose survival depends on inciting and fueling a gender war, spreading myths and false statistics about domestic violence, encouraging false allegations, breaking families, and siphoning funds in the name of women’s empowerment from National and International funding agencies.

If the problem of domestic violence is solved, would not the booming Domestic Violence Industry, which is immune to all vagaries of the economy, suddenly go bankrupt?

It is no wonder that as more and more draconian and inhuman laws are passed under the guise of protection of women, we keep hearing that domestic violence against women is always increasing, instead of decreasing.

Respecting Accuracy in Domestic Violence Reporting (RADAR) has compiled a comprehensive report (link given below) called “Fifty Domestic Violence Myths”. While the report primarily speaks about the situation in the United States, the observations made herein apply to all countries where the feminists have expanded their terrorist operations through the Domestic Violence Industry.

Under the innocuous guise of women’s rights and women’s empowerment, radical feminists have systematically destroyed the institutions of family and marriage.

Radical feminist groups across the globe have declared a war against men, boys, marriage and family. Enormous sponsorship from various Governments and the United Nations not only provides legitimacy to this war, but also serves to drown the voices of reason trying hard to be heard.

Under the innocuous guise of women’s rights and women’s empowerment, radical feminists have systematically destroyed the institutions of family and marriage in most Western countries. During the last decade, they directed their attack at the so-called “developing” nations like India, which is known for its strong family culture and marriage values, and where the only means of social security is the extended family.

The weapons and tactics employed in feminist terrorism are:

Hate speech against men and family

Fabricated and false statistics

Blatant lies

Opportunistic arm-twisting, guilt-tripping and bullying

Draconian gender biased laws

Through these weapons and tactics, radical feminists have successfully hijacked the concepts of fairness and equality under law, sabotaged the ideals and goals of democracy, slaughtered human rights and are insisting on a Taliban-like regime in every nation.

The victims of this global feminist terrorism, as with any other form of terrorism, are unwary men, women and children.

The fallout of this global gender war is steep rise in divorce rates, number of fatherless children, violence against men, number of men ending their own lives, number of “unwanted” pregnancies and juvenile crimes.

Feminist terrorism is one of the worst dangers faced by all nations today, and the threat transcends all social, economic and religious barriers. Civilized and respectable citizens of all countries, religions, and socio-economic groups should actively counter such feminist terrorism for the sake of the well-being of our families, communities and our future generations.

“16 Days of Activism Against Global Feminist Terrorism” is a campaign initiated by All India Men’s Welfare Association and All India Forgotten Women’s Association. Our 16 day internet campaign will involve publishing a series of articles, fact sheets and research findings by men’s rights, fathers’ rights and family rights activists across the world.

Through our campaign, we wish to:

Spread awareness on the perils of radical feminist ideologies

Emphasize harmonious gender relations

Protest discrimination and abuse of men and children in the name of women’s rights

Advocate equal protection for men, women and children from all forms of violence

Condemn all gender biased laws

Condemn male bashing and stereotyping of men

Promote gender equality in all walks of life

Protest the export of weapons of family destruction

Promote family harmony

Promote respect and justice for genuine victims of violence

Hindustan Times reports:-

Men want their day, talk equality.

International Men’s Day, though yet to get official recognition from the United Nations, is slowly getting more votaries in its favour in India.

Sports icon and Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra feels it’s a good idea, “not just to have another Day but if it is to deal with specific problems of men. Why not?”

Everybody has issues; men too have issues that are specific to them and we must be “sensitive to those”, he added.

Celebrated on different days in different parts of the world, it was the then Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev who first called for an international day to celebrate men in 1999 at the UN in Vienna.

In India, NGOs like Save Indian Family Foundation that advocate the cause of men — on a range of issues like false dowry claims, domestic violence, sexual harassment and torture — want to build international consensus for November 19 to be International Men’s Day.

Fashion designer Rohit Bal is all for it. “Men always get a raw deal, particularly in times of segregation and divorce. Custody of children go to women. I think, in any country, both sexes need to be treated equally.” He added: “This is not a demographic problem but a human problem. We should definitely have an International Men’s Day.”

Fashion designer Jattinn Kochhar said: “The Indian government should establish an International Men’s Day though the day and date could be decided. I will give it full support.”

“On the one hand, we talk of women’s empowerment which is very good. But then a small percentage of men get slaughtered as the government, police and law are with women,” he added.

This year, the day coincides with International Philosophy Day. Head of the department of philosophy at Hindu College, Devasia M. Antony, said: “An interesting but (un)welcome coincidence, one may think so! A glance at philosophical writings show most philosophers were and are men. A case of clear gender bias indeed! One hopes the emergence of more women philosophers would radically alter the way philosophy is taught and practiced.”

UN Information Centre director Shalini Dewan said: “As far as the UN is concerned, men were not the discriminated gender.”

An Asst Sub-Inspector of Police set on fire by his wife on International Men’s Day.

A quarrel over a petty issue took an ugly turn when an enraged wife set her husband, a police officer, on fire here, police said on Thursday.

The victim, 52-year-old assistant sub-inspector Balwant Pawar, sustained 85 per cent burns and is admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad. Ironically, the incident took place on International Men’s Day.

According to police, Pawar had a tiff with his wife over some petty issue on Wednesday night when he returned home. Irked over this, she poured kerosene over him and set him on fire, they said.

Pawar was working with the MIDC Cidco police station. The Begampura police have registered a case and are investigating further.
