Demanding the arrest of Rakhi Sawant in connection with the recent controversy on her TV show, a group of male activists from the Indian Family Foundation (IFF) came together on International Men’s day on Friday, raised the grievances of men and spoke about the alleged misuse of women-centric laws in the country.
“If a woman was called impotent on national TV, we are sure that the National Commission for Women would have ensured that the male host was behind the bars,” says Bunty Jain, vice-president, IFF. “We are not against women but we are looking for gender neutrality in the country,” says Jain.
According to the National Crime Records Bureau, in the last 12 years, 1,70,000 married men have committed suicide due to domestic violence. Reflecting upon the rising figures of suicide rates among Indian husbands, the IFF questioned this bias and demanded separate machinery to record complaints by men under cognisable offences.

Rakhi should be jailed for this condemnable statement which lead to suicide by a human.
if somebody would have called her prostitute on national TV channel, entire society would have condemned this act, but our gender biased society is silent even after death of a person. shameless impotent indian society.

I wondered if anybody cared..? but unfortunately in our society its suppose to be seen as ‘ENTERTAINMENT’ as long as Men are being castrated or ripped off their the honour and respect they deserves.One may only object If a woman in brought into the picture.

The Killer Rakhi Sawant should be panished, if a government want to prove that, still justice is exist in the country and prove that eye of an law is equal to all.
Talk like a criminal & insist to do criminal activity also should be punished & citizenship must be seized.
she is one of the reason of the poor man sucide. The major reason is our Law against men. we hope that one day will come for men to be safe from this one side Law’s. At the same time I worry that during the time how many men will commit sucide?

What teeth does your organisation have to go after people like Rakhi Sawant?
She is still out there gloating in private to her friends and family alike,
that she got away literally with murder.
If someone like her, who has no compunction of shedding clothes and values alike,
in public; can get away with this … what is the guarantee … where is the protection,
that others like her will not repeat what she has done.
Shame on the AIMWA. Maybe you need to partner resolutely and network with
the international Men’s Right Movement across the world, especially the USA,
so that India and Indian society as a whole can be spared the mistakes of the
gender politics that they has damaged their society for two generations.
I think AIMWA has just become a confession box … and not just a truly activist movement. Men need much more activism. Especially since because the women groups are well entrenched in all institutions and the law is designed to suit them.
