It was an arranged marriage and we lived together for hardly 4 month but not with g and failed to undood harmony. She left home without intimation and making false allegation. Elders tried their level best to make them understand Life and it's value. This all has happened becasue of mother in-law. After all this, my wife sent me a notice through Woman Commision. After several rounds of discussion and meeting, The Woman Commision finally ordered to both of us to take divorce on Mutual Concent with all the settlement infront of them. My wife agreed there and signed on the order copy. She is also working. But now my wife is moved to court asking for Maintenance. I am really fed-up with this as my responsibilities to take care of my parents is high. I have struggled a lot till date and not able get peace in work, family. ]]> By: SP http://aimwa.in/aimwa-charter#comment-1522 SP Mon, 17 Oct 2011 07:21:38 +0000 http://aimwa.in/?page_id=175#comment-1522 I saw the frequency of the mail are very less , it might because of the awareness or poor response or activity , i am also a victim of 498A, But i am reading your comments but the confidence level are not increasing ...It's a major thing that the men are thinking twice for a marriage life. becuase olden days all the people are living with peace and unity but now days it's just opposite ... all the way the ratio of the women are higher than men... and if the people are not thinking of marriage , then the indian culture will not be there after 20-30 years.. i would like to associate with the force, but i need some feed back of the people who got your assistance , i m not against the association , i know many people who is suffering due to this law, but if am not confident i cannot discuss this with anybody , so please let me have some feedback from different , sending mails and arguing is easy for everyone , last year i saw the mails from Mr Ravishanker and his sister Latha, i would like to know about their life now, why i am keen because it's almost similar to my case...only thing my sister was not met my wife so luckily she was not in the picture , but my sister in law ( my brother's wife ) has become a victim . Why are you not seeking to highlight men's right movement? Why is it not possible for you to voice and educate people through radio, and through Bollywood? Are not most creatives in the entertainment industry, males? You need to push harder for reforms. Is your job just to put up a website? The AIMWA talks a lot.
